For many of our clients, their dog or other companion animal is part of the family — and travels with them as a matter of course. Luxelimo accepts well-behaved dogs and small animals as a standard part of our service, provided clients notify us at the time of booking. This gives us time to assign the right vehicle, brief the driver, and ensure the cabin is correctly prepared before collection.
We do not charge an additional fee for pet travel. The protective seat cover placed across the rear seating area is provided at no extra charge. The experience for you and your pet should be the same quality, comfort, and care that defines every Luxelimo journey — adapted thoughtfully for the fact that your companion is travelling with you.
Our drivers are selected for professionalism and calm manner — qualities that also make them well-suited to working with animals in the vehicle. Many of our drivers are pet owners themselves and understand the importance of a confident, unhurried approach to a dog or cat that is new to chauffeur travel.

Appropriate vehicle assignment
When you notify us of your pet at booking, we assign a vehicle and driver suited to the journey. The Mercedes V-Class is most commonly used for larger dogs, offering generous rear space and easy-clean interior surfaces. The Mercedes E-Class suits smaller dogs and cats in carriers. For unusual requirements, contact us and we will advise the best option.
Protective rear cover
A protective seat cover is placed across the rear seating area before your collection — at no extra charge. This protects the vehicle's interior and keeps the cabin in the condition Luxelimo's standards require for every client, human and four-legged.
Driver briefing
Your driver is informed about your pet before collection — breed, size, and any relevant temperament details you have provided. They arrive prepared and comfortable, ensuring the initial meeting between driver and pet is confident and calm rather than uncertain.
Calm, climate-controlled cabin
All Luxelimo vehicles are climate-controlled. For pet travel in warmer months, the cabin temperature is managed to keep your animal comfortable throughout the journey — not just at the start. Longer journeys can include rest stops if required; discuss this when booking.

To ensure every pet journey goes smoothly for your animal and our driver, we ask clients to follow these simple guidelines:
- Always notify Luxelimo of your pet at the time of booking — not on the day of travel
- Describe your pet: breed, size, and whether they are accustomed to vehicle travel
- Dogs should be on a lead when entering and exiting the vehicle at all times
- Bring a familiar blanket or travel mat for your pet's comfort during the journey
- For anxious animals, a carrier is encouraged — it keeps them calm, secure, and safe
- Bring adequate water and a travel bowl for journeys over one hour
- Cats and small animals must travel in a secure, well-ventilated carrier
